CASABLANCA COTTAGEĀ Date of stay: July, 2011"The best ambiance" This charming old home has such character and ambiance. My group of friends loved it and I got to take the credit and get the big master bedroom with the reading nook. We sat outside for the most part and used all 3 conversation patios. No one wanted to leave to tour...as we enjoyed the comfort so much. Quiet location, a block from shopping and dining, a short walk to Shaw theatre where we enjoyed My Fair Lady. The place is outfitted with all the conveniences you can possible need. I would definitely stay here again.

July 21, 2011 We stayed at Casablanca cottage for a week in July 2011. We loved it! The weather was fablous, and sitting out on the front deck was great. We loved the quiet neighbourhood and the people were great. The property is only a few blocks from the centre of NOTL with lots of quaint shops and good restaurants. The cottage was decorated with taste and care, as well as the yard. A comfortable house where you and your family can feel at home. Thanks so much for an unforgettable week, I'd recommend this rental to anybody! |

August 19, 2011 We have been here twice and have certainly enjoyed our stays both times. The house is clean neat and tidy with very comfortable beds and couches, and very conveniently located for shopping and the theatres, yet far enough back to be nice and quietfor sleeping. |

August 1, 2011 "Well restored historic home steps away from water & downtown." My wife and I stayed in this lovely home for a week in July, 2011. Our two teenagers and a couple of friends visited on a weekend and there was plenty of room for all since there are four bedrooms upstairs (3 doubles and one with two single beds). The three bathrooms accomodated everyone. The kitchen has all the utensils that you need to cook a dinner for 6 (which we did!), including a barbecue. We loved the grounds - there are 3-4 little areas where you can sit from a secluded backyard with large table and seating areas, to a private table off the kitchen to a few rattan chairs on the front porch where you can watch the horse-drawn buggies go by. We used all of them, depending on the location of the sun and privacy that we wanted. The grounds are beautifully kept with lots of flowers and trees. The property has its own parking which is a plus since all the parking is metered in the area. We stayed during a heat wave and can report that the air conditioning was excellent! If you know Niagara-on-the-Lake, you will find that the location is ideal between Queen Street and the river, steps away from the water (and golf course - you can carry your clubs there!) and steps away from the downtown shops and the Shaw theatres. For being so close to downtown, we found that the area is incredibly quiet, both during the day and in the evening, perhaps due to the bylaw that discourages noise after 10 p.m. We will definitely be back! |
